The Potential Reach of Wrapped Vehicles

While vehicle wraps aren't a new concept, business owners are starting to realize how auto advertising can be used to reach their customers quickly, effectively and economically. When it comes to promoting your business and brand, nothing spreads your marketing message faster than a custom vehicle wrap from Missouri's best vehicle wrap shop! Keep reading for some interesting statistics about the potential reach a wrapped vehicle can achieve:

Reach Statistics

If you think about the number of vehicles on the road each day, the potential reach you could get through auto advertising is amazing. Just take a look at a few of these reach statistics for vehicle wraps:
  • An Arbitron In-Car Study found that Americans spend more than 20 hours per week in their vehicles.
  • The Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) found that more than 95% of Americans are reached by media targeting vehicle drivers and passengers.
  • One Missouri vehicle wrap can generate between 30,000 and 70,000 impressions daily.
  • According to the American Trucking Association, 91% of Americans notice advertising on trucks, while 35% actually study the advertisements closely.
  • In addition, 97% of viewers will remember ads placed on commercial vehicles.
  • Of those viewers, 29% would base a buying decision on auto advertising
  • According to the OAAA, 56% of people say they perceive a company as successful when they see auto advertising.
  • The average delivery/service vehicle makes approximately 16 million visual impressions annually!
  • Fleet vehicle advertising boosts name recognition 15 times greater than any other form of advertising.
  • Reflective graphics boost visual impressions by up to 40% by extending visibility during odd operating hours.
  • Multiple other studies have shown an increase in brand awareness from the use of auto advertising in conjunction with existing ad campaigns.
When you combine these statistics with the cost per thousand impressions (CPM), there's no denying the value of adding custom vehicle graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks to your marketing plan.

Advertising Phsycology: 4 Tactics to Try

What drives customers to purchase your product or service? Psychology could have something to do with it. Many successful marketers use psychology to appeal to consumers. In today's blog, your Missouri vehicle wrap shop offers a few psychological marketing tactics that you can try:

1. Use Emotion.

Studies have shown that emotional and psychological appeals resonate more with consumers than if you just push the product features and functions. Focus on the benefits your product or service provides rather than just the features. By drawing an emotional response from your consumers, you're more likely to win them over. How will buying this product or service make someone feel? Consider designing your Lake of the Ozarks car wrap to include and image or phrase that shows a key benefit of your product!

2. Reposition Your Competition.

Consumers have a limited amount of space in their brain when it comes to storing product and service information. Therefore, positioning is key for successful marketing of your product or service. Once an old idea is overturned, its relatively easy to slip a new one in there. Be aware that there's a difference between repositioning and comparing your product or services to those of your competitors.

3. Evoke Fear, Uncertainty or Doubt.

Often times, businesses and organizations will use fear, uncertainty or doubt (FUD) to make consumers stop and think, ultimately changing their behavior. People are always afraid of the unknown and when used correctly, this psychological marketing tactic could be beneficial to your business. What will happen if said consumer doesn't have your product or service?

4. Promote Scarcity and Urgency.

One of the best persuasion techniques could be invoking scarcity and a sense of urgency. Limited time offers or limited availability tend to create a buzz and make people want to buy now so they don't miss out. Early bird specials are also a great example; people will buy now to avoid having to pay more later. Consider having us wrap your wall or storefront windows with a limited time promotion - the vinyl can easily be removed when the promotion is over.

When you're thinking about your marketing strategy, keep the fact that psychology plays a big role in consumer decisions in mind. While some of these tactics can be implemented into your custom vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks, it's important to think about your marketing as a whole and how different pieces of advertising are working together to promote your business. When it comes to creating your wrap, our talented designers will work with you to create a custom promotional solution to meet your specific wants and needs. Give ProDezigns a call at 573-392-0500 to get started!

If you can drive it, ride it, pull it, fly it, or lift it, we can wrap it!

How the Summer Sun Can Affect Your Vehicle Wrap

During the winter months, you have to be aware of the effects snow, ice and road salt have on your vehicle. However, you also have to think about how the hot summer weather can affect your vehicle and custom vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks. Here are a few things for you to consider when trying to keep your vehicle wrap in optimum condition throughout the summer months:

Vehicle Wraps and UV Rays

One of the great things about vehicle wraps is that they protect your custom paint job from the harmful effects of UV rays. What's protecting your vehicle wrap though? While vinyl vehicle graphics are designed to stand up to UV rays, extended exposure to the sun could lead to a shorter life for your vehicle wrap. The intensity of sun damage can vary due to vehicle use and location (the risk of exposure increases for areas with higher elevation).

Protecting Your Wrap

To increase the life of your wrap, try to park it in the shade or in a garage when the vehicle is not in use. If you do have to park it outside in the sun, try to park in a different direction each time to avoid over exposure to a certain part of the vehicle. In addition, regular maintenance can keep your wrap looking shiny and new. Most people think about washing their car on nice days. However, keep in mind that vehicle wraps and those fancy car washes don't mix. Rather than running your vehicle wrap up against the harsh brushes in automatic car washes, you should wash your vehicle by hand and avoid harsh solvents. Applying an approved wax can also help protect your Missouri vehicle wrap from the sun.

ProDezigns is the BEST vehicle wrap shop in Missouri. For all your Lake of the Ozarks custom vehicle graphic needs, give us a call at 573-392-0500. Why You NEED to Brand Your Small Business

While branding is important for any business, it's especially crucial for small businesses. One of the big struggles with small family-owned businesses is the competition of major chains who spend a ton of money on advertising and branding. The main way people know about your business is by word of mouth. However, with a good branding strategy, you can increase your reach and bring in new customers.

What is Branding?

Branding isn't just a logo, it's a set of beliefs. The logo, the color scheme, the tagline or slogan and the mission of the company all come together to create what is known as the "brand." When people hear your business name or see your logo, they get a certain image in their mind. That image is your brand, it's how others perceive and recognize your company.

Here are a few reasons why branding is so important, especially for small businesses:

1. Improves Recognition.

A strong brand is easily recognized. Think the golden arches of McDonalds, everyone knows that symbol. While you may not get the brand recognition that big chains like McDonalds do, a great brand is going to be remembered. For this reason, logo design, color scheme and message are all critical pieces of a great brand.

2. Creates Trust.

A professional and consistent brand builds credibility and trust for your business. People are more likely to buy from a brand that, if they don't recognize, they think looks legitimate - and a brand can do that. Emotional reactions are very real influencers when it comes to making a purchase, and a good brand is a great way to create an emotional tie to your business.

3. Strengthens Advertising.

Consistency is important when it comes to marketing. If you throw out a bunch of advertising pieces with different color schemes, random graphics and a variety of messages, people are going to be confused what business the advertisement is about. By creating a strong brand, you'll use that as the base for all your marketing and advertising.

4. Generates New Customers

Branding enables your company to get more referral business. If someone loves your product or service, they need something to associate it with your company. That "something" is your brand. It's hard to refer someone to something that you can't remember. This goes back to recognition and brand awareness. Your brand is how your customers identify your business and you want it to be memorable.

Branding with Vehicle Wraps

When it comes to branding, advertising does one of two things: sway brand choice for those ready to buy or build brand awareness in those not ready to buy. Lake of the Ozarks custom vehicle wraps can do both! Utilizing new marketing techniques that have been proven time and again to be creative, innovative and on the cutting edge of technology will create a lasting impact to all that see your advertising. ProDezigns is making your business capital mobile through the use of full color graphics on vehicle wraps! Call 573-392-0500 to get started on your design today.

The History of Auto Advertising

Today vehicle wrapping is becoming more and more popular among small business. However, when the concept first came about, the process of wrapping vehicles in vinyl wasn't very affordable. Auto advertising started way before the idea of vinyl vehicle graphics came about. Your favorite vehicle wrap shop in Missouri brings you the history of auto advertising:

Early Vehicle Branding

People have been putting their mark on their vehicles since the automobile was invented. However, it didn't start with vinyl. Early race cars added numbers and marketing to their vehicles for distinction, but the concept soon took on a business perspective. In February of 1900, Milton Hershey became the first to use auto advertising when he painted his Lancaster, PA Hershey brand on a vehicle. Originally, the only option for adding advertising to your vehicle was to paint it, and paint ruled vehicle graphics for over 50 years. By the late 1950's, a more durable, flexible option, with more design capabilities would change the world of auto advertising.

A Better Option Than Paint

This new option for vehicle graphics was vinyl chloride. You can find this multipurpose material in a long list of products because its versatile nature allows for many uses. It can be firm or flexible, thick or thin and also can come in a wide variety of colors. Where did this unique product come from though? Check out our blog titled, "The Invention of Vinyl" to find out!

The Spread of Vinyl Vehicle Graphics

In the beginning, only large clients could afford to use these vinyl vehicle graphics. However, by the 21st century, technology advancements made it possible for small businesses to take advantage of this new way of advertising. For the last decade, vinyl vehicle wraps have quickly been taking over for both die-cut lettering and custom paint jobs. The vehicle wrap industry continues to improve and ProDezigns is on top of it!

If you're interested in using vinyl vehicle graphics to market your business, give us a call at 573-392-0500 today! From concept to completion, our award winning designers will work with you to create a high-impact, eye-catching design that best suits your individual marketing needs. At ProDezigns, we're making your business capital mobile, using full color graphics on vehicle wraps!

The Importance of Branding Your Business

Does your business have a brand? What does that brand say about you? Branding is all about how your customers perceive you. This includes everything from your logo and marketing to your website and the way you interact with your customers. Let's take a look at why branding is so important, for small and large businesses alike, and how Missouri's best wrap shop can help!

1. Branding Promotes Recognition.

People tend to do business with companies they are familiar with, and the best way to accomplish that familiarity is through branding. If you are consistent with your branding, people will recognize you more easily. Just think about the brands that will ever be ingrained in our heads: the golden arches of McDonald's, the polar bear of Coca-Cola, and the list goes on.

2. Branding Creates Trust.

Your brand says a lot about your business: who you are, what you do and how you do it. A professional appearance through branding will be credibility and trust with your customers. People are more likely to purchase from a business that knows who they are and what they want and can demonstrate that to it's customers.

3. Branding Helps Set You Apart from Competitors.

With competition growing more and more each day, it's extremely important to stand apart. Your brand can help you establish yourself as the expert in your field. Through your branding, you can demonstrate why you are the best and why someone should choose you over your competitors. (Be sure to do this without putting down your competitors.)

4. Branding Provides Motivation and Direction for Employees.

Branding isn't all about your customers, it also has a lot to do with your employees. Your brand sets the scene for workplace culture. Having a clear brand strategy provides the clarity your staff needs to be successful. The best work comes from organization, guidelines and goals - all things your brand can provide.

5. Branding Generates Referrals.

People like to talk and they're going to talk about the things they see and like. People wear brands, eat brands, listen to brands, etc. People aren't going to talk about you if they don't know about you or remember you. A strong brand is critical when it comes to spreading the word about your business.

A good brand doesn't just pop up overnight; it takes careful planning and strategy. Let ProDezigns help you brand your business with a custom vehicle wrap at Lake of the Ozarks and surrounding areas. How Does Vehicle Wrap Advertising Differ From Other Outdoor Advertising?

In order for a business to be successful, that business must market the product or service that they have. Consumers have to know you exist in order to buy from you. There are many ways to advertise your business from internet marketing to print ads, radio to TV commercials, but none of those quite compare to outdoor advertising. Let's take a look at all forms of outdoor advertising and compare it to our Lake of the Ozarks vehicle wraps!

What is Outdoor Advertising?

Outdoor advertising is anything done outdoors that publicizes your business' product or service. While TV and print are usually viewed inside the home, outdoor advertising, just like it says in the name, is outdoors. It is advertising exposure, where the advertisement itself is the delivery method. Types of outdoor advertising can include ads on buses, airport posters, signage at sporting events, and billboards. So why is a vehicle wrap better than these other forms of outdoor advertising? Read on.

Vehicle Wraps

Due to their placement, vehicle wraps have an advantage over most other forms of outdoor advertising (and any other form for that matter). Targeted messages placed on vehicle wraps allow that message to travel to areas where your potential customers will see it. This is essentially anywhere and everywhere! You've probably heard our slogan "Better than a Billboard." We're not just saying that, it's true! Vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks can advertise in places where billboards are limited or non-existent. Vehicle wraps are the best way to deliver your advertising message as they go to every potential market and customer.

Are you ready to start getting maximum marketing results today? At ProDezigns, we'll work closely with you to create a high-impact, custom promotional solution that best suits your marketing needs. Give Missouri's BEST vehicle wrap shop a call at 573-392-0500!

The Most Cost Effective Marketing Medium

According to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, vehicle graphics can reach 95% of Americans. This statistic clearly indicates the effectiveness of mobile advertising. Compared to traditional forms of advertising such as TV, radio, print and even billboards, custom vehicle graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks offer an unprecedented opportunity for businesses to take their messages to previously-inaccessible audiences.

Vehicle Wrap Impressions

Today, the average American travels over 300 miles each week. As more Americans spend more time on the road, mobile advertisers have access to a larger audience. A branded vehicle can generate between 30,000 and 70,000 impressions a day. This represents the lowest cost-per-impression (CPI) in all of advertising. CPI is an important metric for marketers to measure the potency of an advertising medium. It is a measure of how much it costs to make 1,000 impressions.

Quality of Impressions

Brands that appear on vehicle graphics are 15 times likelier to be recalled by customers, compared to those brands that rely on traditional outdoor advertising alone. In addition, 92% of respondents in a recent study claim to actually read the copy on fleet graphics and 30% make buying decisions based on mobile advertisements on vehicles.

Vehicle Wrap Statistics

Vehicle wraps are the most cost effective marketing mediums available. Take a look at these statistics from Cox Communications/Eagle Research:
  • 48% of those polled viewed car wraps as the most unique advertising medium available.
  • Car wraps and television ads were viewed as the two most memorable media.
  • 47% of 18-34 year-olds surveyed found car wraps especially memorable.
  • Car wraps rank highly among advertising media for positive associations.
  • Of the target population, 61% spend over 1 hr per day on the road and 33% spend over 2 hrs.

From 1993 to 2003 alone, the size of the mobile marketing industry nearly doubled. Today, mobile advertising is the second largest segment in outdoor advertising and accounts for over 19% of industry revenues. As more and more businesses realize the marketing potential of vehicle wraps in Jefferson City, Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks, the demand is only going to grow. 4 Marketing Resolutions for Your Business in 2015

The New Year is here and now is the time to be thinking about your marketing plans for 2015! Maybe you've already started working on this year's marketing budget or maybe you're holding off because the options are overwhelming. Either way, ProDezigns is here to help you make the most of your marketing in 2015!  The U.S. Small Business Administration suggests you consider these 4 smart marketing resolutions.

1. Invest More in Your Marketing.

One mistake many small businesses make is having an extremely low marketing budget. While owning a small business can present financial challenges, marketing needs to be a top priority. Larger opportunities can be missed when you're pinching pennies. It's important to look at marketing as an investment in your business rather than just another expense. When planning your Lake of the Ozarks marketing strategy, consider all of your options. At ProDezigns, we focus on the benefit of advertising impressions. According to the Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement, vehicle wrap advertising can generate 30,000 to 70,00 daily vehicular impressions!

2. Devote More Time to Marketing.

When you're swamped with business, you might not have the time to devote to marketing. You may even say to yourself, business is great so I don't need to work on marketing it, right? Wrong! That business won't last forever and if you don't work start working on a marketing campaign now, you may not have any new business in the near future. Set aside a few hours a week to work on marketing for your business. A good rule of thumb is to devote 20% of your time to marketing. If you can't scrounge up that much time, you may considering hiring someone to help you with your marketing. Whether it's a part-time employee at your office or an outside marketing company, that extra help may be just what you need to make your business flourish. The great thing about a custom vehicle wrap is that once the wrap is complete, you don't have to devote any more time to that marketing. All you have to do is drive your vehicle and the wrap does the marketing work for you!

3. Measure the Results of Your Marketing.

Many business owners may be reluctant to spend money on advertising because they fail to keep track of what their current marketing efforts are doing for their business. Therefore, they never know exactly which types of marketing attracted new customers or converted to sales. Whether you're using internet marketing tactics or a vehicle wrap at Lake of the Ozarks, there is always a way to track your results. You can use your website's analytic tools to see what specific online marketing campaigns are attracting users to the website. Use codes in your ads to track which specific ads bring in customers and if all else fails, just ask the customer how they heard about you. You could even offer a discount to those customers that found you through a certain form of advertising. By measuring your results, you have a guide to see where to spend  you're money the next month. However, the great thing about vehicle wraps is they're a one-time investment that keeps on bringing you results!

4. Always Be Thinking Ahead.

When you're working so hard on the business of your business, it's easy to keep your head down and let marketing slip by. Before you know it, your marketing methods are outdated and your competitors are way ahead of you. Don't let this happen! Pay attention to your customers, your competitors and your industry. Ask yourself the following questions:

  • How are my competitors marketing their business?
  • What new developments are affecting the way businesses in my industry are marketing themselves?
  • How are my target customers changing and what new markets should I reach out to next?
Growth can come from the most unexpected places, so pay attention to the results of your marketing and the demographics of your customers. Seize the opportunities and watch your business grow!

Consider adding a ProDezigns custom vehicle wrap to your 2015 marketing plan! Many forms of advertising, like billboards or radio are simply a rented amount of time, but not vehicle wraps. You own the graphics and the vehicle, therefore you control it! You have the ability to advertise in areas where it would typically be impossible by any other means. Increase your exposure with minimal effort on your part by consulting with one of our experts today! Contact Missouri's BEST Wrap Shop at 573-392-0500 to get started!

Then when you need to get creative, you have ideas to get you started.

2. Use Your Surroundings.

The environment you're in can inspire great ideas. Sometimes you come up with an idea in the most unlikely of places. If you're looking at the same four walls all day long, you're limiting your perspective. Take a break and get out of the office. Instead of eating your lunch at your desk, take it outside when the weather is nice. If you can't leave your office, add some elements to help inspire you, such as pictures, plants, books or toys.

3. Ask Questions.

There are multiple ways to solve problems.  Asking "Why?" and "How?" can help you understand things in a new way.  Another great question to ask youself is, "What's Missing?"  Use these questions to get more details and help you expand your idea.

4. Turn It Around.

Sometimes switching gears is all you need to get creative. Try looking for the opposite of what you want. Sometimes exploring how to make a bad situation worse can tell you what not to do.  When you're stuck on something, a different perspective could be the solution.

5. Combine Random Ideas.

Try to figure out how to use two very different items together. For example, maybe you have a bottle of water and an ink pen on your desk, how can you put those together to form an idea? You may not generate a useful idea with some water and and pen, but you can train your brain to see different possibilities by using this exercise.

6. Recruit Help.

Sometimes you need another person's perspective to finish an idea. Find a friend, family member or coworker to bounce your ideas off of. Choose someone that you're comfortable with, but who will challenge you when necessary. When it comes to your vehicle wrap, the team at ProDezigns is ready to hear your ideas!

7. Read Something New.

If you find yourself reading the same old newspapers, trade publications, blogs and the like, try picking up something new.  A murder mystery, a gardening book, a Shakespeare volume or anything that will teach you something you don't know could be the key to getting those creative juices flowing.

8. Accept Failure and Move On.

When trying new and different approches, expect to make mistakes. No one is perfect and when it comes to creativity there's not one simple solution. Sometimes colossal failures can lead to amazing successes and perfect ideas!

9. Channel Your "Inner Child."

Maybe you've noticed how most kids are unafraid to take gigantic risks or make fools of themselves? They haven't been trained to use a safe approach and sometimes that just what we need to come up with a great idea. Even if a child's ideas aren't fully developed, their dreams are big enough to take chances. This is something we need to re-learn as adults to increase our creativity.

10. Relax Your Brain.

If you're brain is on overload, you're going to have trouble coming up with that great idea. Give your subconcious a chance to work by turning your brain off every once in awhile. Rather than constantly focusing on solving problems, take time to exercise and relax.  Give yourself permission to think about other things and remember that a tired mind won't generate fresh ideas.

Use these tips to help you come up with the most creative idea for your vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City or Columbia.  The staff at ProDezigns can help you perfect your idea and turn it into an awesome piece of art. Knowing Your Purpose for Marketing

You've probably seen many different Lake of the Ozarks vehicle wraps running around town, some maybe better than others.  The most effective vehicle wraps start by defining your purpose; what do you want to accomplish with your vehicle wrap marketing?  What message do you want to get across to your customers?  Here are some tips for defining your purpose:

1. Marketing Message

What is the number one point you want customers to take away?  Attempting multiple messages on a vehicle wrap is not a good idea. You can confuse your customers and come off as unorganized. Stick to whatever your most important message is.  Some ideas could include:

  • BEST in Town - Are you the fastest or most experienced person in your industry here at the Lake? Do you provide something that other companies don't?  Is your customer service great?
  • Product or Service - Do you just want to let customers know about your unique product or service?
  • Promotions - Are you offering a special discount to those who see your vehicle wrap?
  • Call to Action - Do you want customers to call you or visit your website?

2. Target Market

Think about who you are attempting to appeal to and decide which graphics will capture that demographic's attention.  Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Who do you want your message to reach?
  • Is your target market teenagers or young adults, mothers or grandparents?
  • Are you targeting other businesses rather than individual consumers?
You will choose a different message and style depending on the market you want to attract.

3. Design Integration

Once you have picked out your marketing message and defined your target market, it's important to think how you can incorporate this into your design.  You want to make sure that the graphics match the text and message you've come up with.  Some points you'll want to consider include:

  • Text - style and font can make or break your design.  If your message is more serious, you should stick to a basic font.  Otherwise you can go for a more fun font, just be sure it is easy to read as people driving by will only have a few seconds to read it.
  • Color - You've probably heard how color relates to psychology and that certain colors can evoke certain emotions.  If you're message is happy, black is probably not a good color choice. For more information on color choices, check out our blog "The Meaning of Colors in Marketing."
  • Design - Do all the pieces work together?  Does your message come across clearly and concisely?  Simpler is better and less is always more when it comes to vehicle wraps in Jefferson City, Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks.

Big Brands Get Vehicle Wrap Marketing

Marketing and advertising come in many different forms, each with their own ways of targeting consumers.  When it comes to choosing which marketing avenues to utilize, the big brands get it.  Big companies understand the power of vehicle wrap advertising.  Here are a few vehicle wraps we found that showcase some of these companies!

1. Monster Energy

Monster is all about fans rockin' the Monster logo the way they want - on hats, shirts, bikes, trucks and more!  Monster is way more than an energy drink.  Led by the athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is...a lifestyle in a can!

2. Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company is the world's largest beverage company, refreshing consumers with more than 500 sparkling and still brands.  Their brand strives to inspire creativity, passion, optimism and fun. 3. Budweiser

Based in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch is the leading American brewer, holding a 47.6 percent share of U.S. beer sales to retailers.  The company brews the world’s largest-selling beers, Budweiser and Bud Light, and distributes these and many other popular brands through a strong network of more than 600 independent wholesalers.

4. Kentucky Fried Chicken

KFC Corporation, based in Louisville, Kentucky, is one of the few brands in America that can boast a rich, decades-long history of success and innovation. It all started with one cook who created a soon-to-be world famous recipe more than 70 years ago, a list of secret herbs and spices scratched out on the back of the door to his kitchen. That cook was Colonel Harland Sanders of course, and now KFC is the world's most popular chicken restaurant chain!

5. Red Bull

From day one, Red Bull has been giving wings to people and ideas, setting many milestones in sports and culture.  Red Bull's effects are recognized throughout the world by a variety of people such as top athletes, busy professionals, college students and travelers on long journeys.
