Your Vehicle Wrap Questions Answered

Many people have used billboards, print ads, the internet and more for all their marketing needs. Custom vehicle wraps however, are a new concept for many.  ProDezigns is here to answer all your questions and concerns when it comes to vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City and Columbia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can my vehicle wrap be removed?

A: Vehicle wraps are removable, but we recommend having a professional perform the removal. When you want to update your wrap or are ready to sell your car, the vinyl can be removed the same way that it was applied.

Q: What is involved in getting a vehicle wrap for my car?

A: Vehicle wraps, whether it be for your car, trailer, bus or helicopter, are all comprised of three separate phases.  The first is the design phase, which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and actual design of the graphics to be applied.  The second is the production phase, where the graphics are printed and then laminated to protect the vinyl from abrasions and UV rays.  The third phase is the installation, where the vinyl is actually applied to your vehicle.

Q:  Do I have to wrap my entire vehicle?

A: You can either purchase a full wrap or a partial wrap.  Anything less than something that covers the entire vehicle is normally considered a "partial wrap."  The nice thing about partial wraps is that we can design your wrap to stay within your budget.

Q: Will a vehicle wrap damage my paint?

A: In most cases, vehicle wraps will not damage factory paint jobs.  In fact, it will protect that paint. It is important to talk with the design professionals at ProDezigns and pre-test your paint job prior to wrapping with vinyl.  Paint in poor condition may fail when vinyl is removed.  For more on this topic, check out our blog titled "Vehicle Wraps Can Protect Your Factory Paint Job!"

Q: How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?

A: The time it takes to wrap a vehicle varies from project to project.  However, in general, most vehicle wraps can be installed in as little as 1-3 days.

Q: If my vinyl vehicle wrap graphics are damaged, can they be fixed?

A:  You can normally have any damaged pieces or panels of your vehicle wrap replaced after your vehicle is repaired.  Many times you won't have to redo the entire wrap as long as the damages are limited to certain areas of the vehicle.  If you find yourself in this situation, contact one of our design specialists for more information.

Q: How can I justify the cost of a vehicle wrap?

A: If you are using your vehicle wrap as a marketing tool, there is no more cost-effective method of advertising available.  Why not use your vehicle to its fullest potential, to gain you business! it has been proven that the cost per impression of vehicle wraps is less than other forms of advertising such as billboards, television, radio, yellow pages and even newspapers!
