10 Tips for Inspiring Creativity

When it comes to marketing your business, creativity is a key aspect. Creativity is especially important when it comes to vehicle wraps in Columbia, Jefferson City or the Lake of the Ozarks. You want to create a custom vehicle wrap that stands out, while keeping it simple and easy for customers to understand. Sometimes its difficult to get those creative juices flowing, so here are some tips from Inc.com you can try:

1. Keep a Notebook for Thoughts.

There's nothing worse than getting a great idea and then forgetting it before you can impliment it. By keeping a notebook with you, you can record ideas as soon as they come to you.  You could even keep virtual notes on your smarphone. Then when you need to get creative, you have ideas to get you started.

2. Use Your Surroundings.

The environment you're in can inspire great ideas. Sometimes you come up with an idea in the most unlikely of places. If you're looking at the same four walls all day long, you're limiting your perspective. Take a break and get out of the office. Instead of eating your lunch at your desk, take it outside when the weather is nice. If you can't leave your office, add some elements to help inspire you, such as pictures, plants, books or toys.

3. Ask Questions.

There are multiple ways to solve problems.  Asking "Why?" and "How?" can help you understand things in a new way.  Another great question to ask youself is, "What's Missing?"  Use these questions to get more details and help you expand your idea.

4. Turn It Around.

Sometimes switching gears is all you need to get creative. Try looking for the opposite of what you want. Sometimes exploring how to make a bad situation worse can tell you what not to do.  When you're stuck on something, a different perspective could be the solution.

5. Combine Random Ideas.

Try to figure out how to use two very different items together. For example, maybe you have a bottle of water and an ink pen on your desk, how can you put those together to form an idea? You may not generate a useful idea with some water and and pen, but you can train your brain to see different possibilities by using this exercise.

6. Recruit Help.

Sometimes you need another person's perspective to finish an idea. Find a friend, family member or coworker to bounce your ideas off of. Choose someone that you're comfortable with, but who will challenge you when necessary. When it comes to your vehicle wrap, the team at ProDezigns is ready to hear your ideas!

7. Read Something New.

If you find yourself reading the same old newspapers, trade publications, blogs and the like, try picking up something new.  A murder mystery, a gardening book, a Shakespeare volume or anything that will teach you something you don't know could be the key to getting those creative juices flowing.

8. Accept Failure and Move On.

When trying new and different approches, expect to make mistakes. No one is perfect and when it comes to creativity there's not one simple solution. Sometimes colossal failures can lead to amazing successes and perfect ideas!

9. Channel Your "Inner Child."

Maybe you've noticed how most kids are unafraid to take gigantic risks or make fools of themselves? They haven't been trained to use a safe approach and sometimes that just what we need to come up with a great idea. Even if a child's ideas aren't fully developed, their dreams are big enough to take chances. This is something we need to re-learn as adults to increase our creativity.

10. Relax Your Brain.

If you're brain is on overload, you're going to have trouble coming up with that great idea. Give your subconcious a chance to work by turning your brain off every once in awhile. Rather than constantly focusing on solving problems, take time to exercise and relax.  Give yourself permission to think about other things and remember that a tired mind won't generate fresh ideas.

Use these tips to help you come up with the most creative idea for your vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City or Columbia.  The staff at ProDezigns can help you perfect your idea and turn it into an awesome piece of art. Promote Your Business with Custom Floor Graphics

Custom vinyl graphics are becoming one of the leading forms of advertising, and not just on vehicles. Utilize your valuable storefront marketing space with custom floor graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks. From promoting in-store specials to drawing attention to a particular product, these custom graphics can be used to create high impact marketing message right inside your store. Vehicle wraps may be able to get the customers in your door, but your marketing strategy can't stop there. Along with salespeople, custom floor graphics can assist you in making that sale by reinforcing your marketing messages and advertising campaigns!

The Psychology of the Floor

According to Joseph S. King, a professor of psychology at Radford, we are programmed by nature to pay attention to the ground, and our attention can be redirected to the floor first by novelty and later by relevant messages. In his article titled, "The Psychology of the Floor" he explains that attention directed downward actually narrows our attention focus. Therefore the content becomes more relevant, impacting the customer at the point of decision. So the bottom line is that by using custom floor graphics, you can capture the attention of consumers and influence their buying habits.

Benefits of Custom Floor Graphics

  • According to BIG Images, floor graphics can increase sales by up to 20-30%.
  • Floor graphics are very cost-effective compared to other traditional marketing methods, such as radio and newspaper.
  • Floor graphics are inexpensive enough to use for short-term signage, but also durable enough to be used for longer campaigns.
  • You have unlimited availability of where to place your custom marketing message.
  • Floor graphics are a great way to improve safety by placing warnings in key locations.
  • You can direct foot traffic with floor graphics.

Get started creating your custom floor graphics today! Contact the BEST wrap shop in Missouri at 573-392-0500. Knowing Your Purpose for Marketing

You've probably seen many different Lake of the Ozarks vehicle wraps running around town, some maybe better than others.  The most effective vehicle wraps start by defining your purpose; what do you want to accomplish with your vehicle wrap marketing?  What message do you want to get across to your customers?  Here are some tips for defining your purpose:

1. Marketing Message

What is the number one point you want customers to take away?  Attempting multiple messages on a vehicle wrap is not a good idea. You can confuse your customers and come off as unorganized. Stick to whatever your most important message is.  Some ideas could include:

  • BEST in Town - Are you the fastest or most experienced person in your industry here at the Lake? Do you provide something that other companies don't?  Is your customer service great?
  • Product or Service - Do you just want to let customers know about your unique product or service?
  • Promotions - Are you offering a special discount to those who see your vehicle wrap?
  • Call to Action - Do you want customers to call you or visit your website?

2. Target Market

Think about who you are attempting to appeal to and decide which graphics will capture that demographic's attention.  Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Who do you want your message to reach?
  • Is your target market teenagers or young adults, mothers or grandparents?
  • Are you targeting other businesses rather than individual consumers?
You will choose a different message and style depending on the market you want to attract.

3. Design Integration

Once you have picked out your marketing message and defined your target market, it's important to think how you can incorporate this into your design.  You want to make sure that the graphics match the text and message you've come up with.  Some points you'll want to consider include:

  • Text - style and font can make or break your design.  If your message is more serious, you should stick to a basic font.  Otherwise you can go for a more fun font, just be sure it is easy to read as people driving by will only have a few seconds to read it.
  • Color - You've probably heard how color relates to psychology and that certain colors can evoke certain emotions.  If you're message is happy, black is probably not a good color choice. For more information on color choices, check out our blog "The Meaning of Colors in Marketing."
  • Design - Do all the pieces work together?  Does your message come across clearly and concisely?  Simpler is better and less is always more when it comes to vehicle wraps in Jefferson City, Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks.

Before you start the vehicle wrap process, take the time to analyze what marketing message would work best for your company's needs.  At ProDezigns, we'll work with you to create a high-impact, custom promotional solution that best suits your marketing needs.  Utilizing new marketing techniques that have been proven time and again to be creative, innovative and on the cutting edge of technology will create a lasting impact to all that see your advertising.  Contact us today at 573-392-0500 to get started!

Big Brands Get Vehicle Wrap Marketing

Marketing and advertising come in many different forms, each with their own ways of targeting consumers.  When it comes to choosing which marketing avenues to utilize, the big brands get it.  Big companies understand the power of vehicle wrap advertising.  Here are a few vehicle wraps we found that showcase some of these companies!

1. Monster Energy

Monster is all about fans rockin' the Monster logo the way they want - on hats, shirts, bikes, trucks and more!  Monster is way more than an energy drink.  Led by the athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is...a lifestyle in a can!

2. Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company is the world's largest beverage company, refreshing consumers with more than 500 sparkling and still brands.  Their brand strives to inspire creativity, passion, optimism and fun. 3. Budweiser

Based in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch is the leading American brewer, holding a 47.6 percent share of U.S. beer sales to retailers.  The company brews the world’s largest-selling beers, Budweiser and Bud Light, and distributes these and many other popular brands through a strong network of more than 600 independent wholesalers.

4. Kentucky Fried Chicken

KFC Corporation, based in Louisville, Kentucky, is one of the few brands in America that can boast a rich, decades-long history of success and innovation. It all started with one cook who created a soon-to-be world famous recipe more than 70 years ago, a list of secret herbs and spices scratched out on the back of the door to his kitchen. That cook was Colonel Harland Sanders of course, and now KFC is the world's most popular chicken restaurant chain!

5. Red Bull

From day one, Red Bull has been giving wings to people and ideas, setting many milestones in sports and culture.  Red Bull's effects are recognized throughout the world by a variety of people such as top athletes, busy professionals, college students and travelers on long journeys.
