10 Tips for Inspiring Creativity

When it comes to marketing your business, creativity is a key aspect. Creativity is especially important when it comes to vehicle wraps in Columbia, Jefferson City or the Lake of the Ozarks. You want to create a custom vehicle wrap that stands out, while keeping it simple and easy for customers to understand. Sometimes its difficult to get those creative juices flowing, so here are some tips from Inc.com you can try:

1. Keep a Notebook for Thoughts.

There's nothing worse than getting a great idea and then forgetting it before you can impliment it. By keeping a notebook with you, you can record ideas as soon as they come to you.  You could even keep virtual notes on your smarphone. Then when you need to get creative, you have ideas to get you started.

2. Use Your Surroundings.

The environment you're in can inspire great ideas. Sometimes you come up with an idea in the most unlikely of places. If you're looking at the same four walls all day long, you're limiting your perspective. Take a break and get out of the office. Instead of eating your lunch at your desk, take it outside when the weather is nice. If you can't leave your office, add some elements to help inspire you, such as pictures, plants, books or toys.

3. Ask Questions.

There are multiple ways to solve problems.  Asking "Why?" and "How?" can help you understand things in a new way.  Another great question to ask youself is, "What's Missing?"  Use these questions to get more details and help you expand your idea.

4. Turn It Around.

Sometimes switching gears is all you need to get creative. Try looking for the opposite of what you want. Sometimes exploring how to make a bad situation worse can tell you what not to do.  When you're stuck on something, a different perspective could be the solution.

5. Combine Random Ideas.

Try to figure out how to use two very different items together. For example, maybe you have a bottle of water and an ink pen on your desk, how can you put those together to form an idea? You may not generate a useful idea with some water and and pen, but you can train your brain to see different possibilities by using this exercise.

6. Recruit Help.

Sometimes you need another person's perspective to finish an idea. Find a friend, family member or coworker to bounce your ideas off of. Choose someone that you're comfortable with, but who will challenge you when necessary. When it comes to your vehicle wrap, the team at ProDezigns is ready to hear your ideas!

7. Read Something New.

If you find yourself reading the same old newspapers, trade publications, blogs and the like, try picking up something new.  A murder mystery, a gardening book, a Shakespeare volume or anything that will teach you something you don't know could be the key to getting those creative juices flowing.

8. Accept Failure and Move On.

When trying new and different approches, expect to make mistakes. No one is perfect and when it comes to creativity there's not one simple solution. Sometimes colossal failures can lead to amazing successes and perfect ideas!

9. Channel Your "Inner Child."

Maybe you've noticed how most kids are unafraid to take gigantic risks or make fools of themselves? They haven't been trained to use a safe approach and sometimes that just what we need to come up with a great idea. Even if a child's ideas aren't fully developed, their dreams are big enough to take chances. This is something we need to re-learn as adults to increase our creativity.

10. Relax Your Brain.

If you're brain is on overload, you're going to have trouble coming up with that great idea. Give your subconcious a chance to work by turning your brain off every once in awhile. Rather than constantly focusing on solving problems, take time to exercise and relax.  Give yourself permission to think about other things and remember that a tired mind won't generate fresh ideas.

Use these tips to help you come up with the most creative idea for your vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City or Columbia.  The staff at ProDezigns can help you perfect your idea and turn it into an awesome piece of art. Promote Your Business with Custom Floor Graphics

Custom vinyl graphics are becoming one of the leading forms of advertising, and not just on vehicles. Utilize your valuable storefront marketing space with custom floor graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks. From promoting in-store specials to drawing attention to a particular product, these custom graphics can be used to create high impact marketing message right inside your store. Vehicle wraps may be able to get the customers in your door, but your marketing strategy can't stop there. Along with salespeople, custom floor graphics can assist you in making that sale by reinforcing your marketing messages and advertising campaigns!

The Psychology of the Floor

According to Joseph S. King, a professor of psychology at Radford, we are programmed by nature to pay attention to the ground, and our attention can be redirected to the floor first by novelty and later by relevant messages. In his article titled, "The Psychology of the Floor" he explains that attention directed downward actually narrows our attention focus. Therefore the content becomes more relevant, impacting the customer at the point of decision. So the bottom line is that by using custom floor graphics, you can capture the attention of consumers and influence their buying habits.

Benefits of Custom Floor Graphics

  • According to BIG Images, floor graphics can increase sales by up to 20-30%.
  • Floor graphics are very cost-effective compared to other traditional marketing methods, such as radio and newspaper.
  • Floor graphics are inexpensive enough to use for short-term signage, but also durable enough to be used for longer campaigns.
  • You have unlimited availability of where to place your custom marketing message.
  • Floor graphics are a great way to improve safety by placing warnings in key locations.
  • You can direct foot traffic with floor graphics.

Get started creating your custom floor graphics today! Contact the BEST wrap shop in Missouri at 573-392-0500. Utilizing new marketing techniques that have been proven time and again to be creative, innovative and on the cutting edge of technology will create a lasting impact to all that see your advertising. Knowing Your Purpose for Marketing

You've probably seen many different Lake of the Ozarks vehicle wraps running around town, some maybe better than others.  The most effective vehicle wraps start by defining your purpose; what do you want to accomplish with your vehicle wrap marketing?  What message do you want to get across to your customers?  Here are some tips for defining your purpose:

1. Marketing Message

What is the number one point you want customers to take away?  Attempting multiple messages on a vehicle wrap is not a good idea. You can confuse your customers and come off as unorganized. Stick to whatever your most important message is.  Some ideas could include:

  • BEST in Town - Are you the fastest or most experienced person in your industry here at the Lake? Do you provide something that other companies don't?  Is your customer service great?
  • Product or Service - Do you just want to let customers know about your unique product or service?
  • Promotions - Are you offering a special discount to those who see your vehicle wrap?
  • Call to Action - Do you want customers to call you or visit your website?

2. Target Market

Think about who you are attempting to appeal to and decide which graphics will capture that demographic's attention.  Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Who do you want your message to reach?
  • Is your target market teenagers or young adults, mothers or grandparents?
  • Are you targeting other businesses rather than individual consumers?
You will choose a different message and style depending on the market you want to attract.

3. Design Integration

Once you have picked out your marketing message and defined your target market, it's important to think how you can incorporate this into your design.  You want to make sure that the graphics match the text and message you've come up with.  Some points you'll want to consider include:

  • Text - style and font can make or break your design.  If your message is more serious, you should stick to a basic font.  Otherwise you can go for a more fun font, just be sure it is easy to read as people driving by will only have a few seconds to read it.
  • Color - You've probably heard how color relates to psychology and that certain colors can evoke certain emotions.  If you're message is happy, black is probably not a good color choice. For more information on color choices, check out our blog "The Meaning of Colors in Marketing."
  • Design - Do all the pieces work together?  Does your message come across clearly and concisely?  Simpler is better and less is always more when it comes to vehicle wraps in Jefferson City, Columbia and Lake of the Ozarks.

Before you start the vehicle wrap process, take the time to analyze what marketing message would work best for your company's needs.  At ProDezigns, we'll work with you to create a high-impact, custom promotional solution that best suits your marketing needs.  Utilizing new marketing techniques that have been proven time and again to be creative, innovative and on the cutting edge of technology will create a lasting impact to all that see your advertising.  Contact us today at 573-392-0500 to get started!

Big Brands Get Vehicle Wrap Marketing

Marketing and advertising come in many different forms, each with their own ways of targeting consumers.  When it comes to choosing which marketing avenues to utilize, the big brands get it.  Big companies understand the power of vehicle wrap advertising.  Here are a few vehicle wraps we found that showcase some of these companies!

1. Monster Energy

Monster is all about fans rockin' the Monster logo the way they want - on hats, shirts, bikes, trucks and more!  Monster is way more than an energy drink.  Led by the athletes, musicians, employees, distributors and fans, Monster is...a lifestyle in a can!

2. Coca-Cola

The Coca-Cola Company is the world's largest beverage company, refreshing consumers with more than 500 sparkling and still brands.  Their brand strives to inspire creativity, passion, optimism and fun. Coca-Cola has used many marketing campaigns over the years, many of them including seasonal vehicle wraps like the one shown below:

3. Budweiser

Based in St. Louis, Anheuser-Busch is the leading American brewer, holding a 47.6 percent share of U.S. beer sales to retailers.  The company brews the world’s largest-selling beers, Budweiser and Bud Light, and distributes these and many other popular brands through a strong network of more than 600 independent wholesalers.

4. Kentucky Fried Chicken

KFC Corporation, based in Louisville, Kentucky, is one of the few brands in America that can boast a rich, decades-long history of success and innovation. It all started with one cook who created a soon-to-be world famous recipe more than 70 years ago, a list of secret herbs and spices scratched out on the back of the door to his kitchen. That cook was Colonel Harland Sanders of course, and now KFC is the world's most popular chicken restaurant chain!

5. Red Bull

From day one, Red Bull has been giving wings to people and ideas, setting many milestones in sports and culture.  Red Bull's effects are recognized throughout the world by a variety of people such as top athletes, busy professionals, college students and travelers on long journeys.

10 Awesome Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Floats for This Year

Thanksgiving is almost here and with the holiday comes some awesome traditions.  Of course there's the large feast featuring turkey, but also with the traditions comes the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade.  The parade started in 1924, with live animals from Central Park Zoo and since has grown into this amazing tradition with giant balloons and spectacular floats.  ProDezigns wants to share with you some of the best floats you can expect to see in this year's parade!

1. 1-2-3 Sesame Street, Sesame Workshop

Sesame Street, the most famous street in the world, celebrates its 45th season of helping kids grow smarter, stronger and kinder. Coming to 34th Street for Thanksgiving on the stoop of 123 Sesame Street are your favorite friends and Muppets kicking off the holidays and bringing laughter to children everywhere.  The float will include a performance by the cast and Muppets of Sesame Street.

2. At the Ball Game, Cracker Jacks Popcorn

Inspired by another American pastime – arguably the most famous of them all - this new float features a baseball theme that builds on the tradition of Cracker Jack snacks and family experiences at the ballpark. And in a contemporary nod to everyone’s favorite photo opportunity, the float includes a family taking a “selfie.”  The float will include live cameras for spectators to see themselves on a larger-than-life LED screen above the stadium scoreboard.

3. Dreamseeker, Cirque Du Soleil

The visually stunning flying ship of DREAMSEEKER by Cirque du Soleil returns to the line-up for another spectacular performance. Seeming to take flight thanks in part to giant wings, DREAMSEEKER comes complete with custom-designed trampolines and many more acrobatic secrets.  At 52-feet long, 23-feet wide and 35-feet high, the grand ship is one of the longest, tallest and widest floats in the Parade.  The float will feature performance by Acrobats and character artists of Cirque Du Soleil.

4. The Enchanting World of Lindt Chocolate, Lindt

A larger-than-life Lindt Master Chocolatier rises three stories above a delectable chocolate shop serving as the Puppet Master for chocolate delights. Orchestrating the creation of LINDT BEAR and other chocolate figures for the holidays, the puppeteer pulls the strings on life-sized marionettes and giant spoons in a dance of wonder. Float Facts: The Lindt Master Chocolatier figure moves and blinks thanks to a little Macy’s Parade magic and behind-the-scenes puppeteering.
Performer featured on this float is Tony Award winner and Broadway Superstar Idina Menzel.

5. Frozen Fall Fun, Discover

Hockey fans of all ages will be enthralled as they root for kids on the home team during this preview to the 2014 Discover NHL Thanksgiving Showdown. Transforming a hometown backyard into an ice rink for the ultimate holiday slap shot contest, the float comes complete with a giant Turkey goalie on defense. The skating surface is actually made of synthetic ice, a hard surface that can be skated on.
Performances by Pop/Rockers The Madden Brothers and NHL legends John LeClair and Pat LaFontaine will accompany this float.

6. Goldfish on Parade, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish

It’s a Parade within a Parade for the Goldfish characters. 7. On the Roll Again, Homewood Suites by Hilton

The adorable duck family is on the roll again as Lewis the Duck and his colorful kin take to the streets. Celebrating classic wooden pull toys, the Homewood Suites by Hilton mascot lets his feet do the “cranking,” pulling his wife Lois and kids Lance and Lisa down the line of march.  Performance will be by NBC’s Sing Off winners and pop/hip-hop/acapella music stars PENTATONIX.

8. International CELE-BEAR-ATION Clock Tower, Build-A-Bear Workshop

Build-A-Bear Workshop shares hugs worldwide! The International Cele-bear-ration Clock Tower float celebrates everyone’s favorite childhood friend, the Teddy Bear. Build-A-Bear Workshop mascot Bearemy joins his international furry friends for a bear hug that is understood in any language.  The float depicts a worldwide collection of furry pals from the American Northwest to the canals of Venice. Performance will be by Oscar-nominated actress and star of the upcoming film “Annie” Quvenzhane Wallis along with her co-stars.

9. Pep Rally, Spirit of America Productions

Putting the pep in the step-off and spreading holiday spirit is the Pep Rally float. On board, spirited kids will show they really do know how to get the party started as they ring in the holidays.  The float’s massive cheerleading horn is the biggest used in the Parade.  International Rock & Roll legends KISS will be performing on this float.

10. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles emerge from sewers of the city to delight spectators with their crime-battling ninja precision. This Thanksgiving, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo are back to battle the evil Foot Clan and save the day. Include Vehicle Wraps in Your 2015 Marketing Budget

The holiday season is upon us and the new year will be here before you know it!  Have you started thinking about your 2015 marketing budget? ProDezigns can make your business capital mobile, using full color graphics on a vehicle wrap.  From concept to completion, our award winning designers work closely with you to create a high-impact, custom promotional solution that best suits your individual marketing needs.

Benefits of Adding a Vehicle Wrap to Your Marketing Plan

1. Low Cost per Impression - Compared to other forms of advertising, vehicle wraps get more impressions.  The Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement reports that vehicle wrap advertising can generate 30,000 to 70,000  daily vehicular impressions.

2. Increased Impact - A recent poll shows that: 90% of travelers notice graphics on wrapped vehicles, 75% of consumers form impressions about a company based on the fleet graphics, and 30% of consumers base buying decisions on impressions they receive from company vehicles.

3. Less Regulation - In most cases, you do not need a permit for vehicle wrap advertising.  However, you should always check with your supplier about laws in your area.

4. You Own It and Control It - Many forms of advertising, like billboards or radio are simply a rented amount of time.  With vehicle wraps, you own the graphics and the vehicle.  You also have the ability to advertise in areas where it would be impossible by any other means, such as huge shopping malls, sporting events or parades!  Vehicle wraps also serve as a great on premises sign while parked in front of your business!

Our vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City and Columbia are cutting edge techniques, resulting in vehicle wraps that need to be seen to be believed!  Increase your exposure with a vehicle wrap by consulting with our experts regarding vinyl graphics, car decals and more. Your Vehicle Wrap Questions Answered

Many people have used billboards, print ads, the internet and more for all their marketing needs. Custom vehicle wraps however, are a new concept for many.  ProDezigns is here to answer all your questions and concerns when it comes to vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City and Columbia.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can my vehicle wrap be removed?

A: Vehicle wraps are removable, but we recommend having a professional perform the removal. When you want to update your wrap or are ready to sell your car, the vinyl can be removed the same way that it was applied.

Q: What is involved in getting a vehicle wrap for my car?

A: Vehicle wraps, whether it be for your car, trailer, bus or helicopter, are all comprised of three separate phases.  The first is the design phase, which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and actual design of the graphics to be applied.  The second is the production phase, where the graphics are printed and then laminated to protect the vinyl from abrasions and UV rays.  The third phase is the installation, where the vinyl is actually applied to your vehicle.

Q:  Do I have to wrap my entire vehicle?

A: You can either purchase a full wrap or a partial wrap.  Anything less than something that covers the entire vehicle is normally considered a "partial wrap."  The nice thing about partial wraps is that we can design your wrap to stay within your budget.

Q: Will a vehicle wrap damage my paint?

A: In most cases, vehicle wraps will not damage factory paint jobs.  In fact, it will protect that paint. It is important to talk with the design professionals at ProDezigns and pre-test your paint job prior to wrapping with vinyl.  Paint in poor condition may fail when vinyl is removed.  For more on this topic, check out our blog titled "Vehicle Wraps Can Protect Your Factory Paint Job!"

Q: How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?

A: The time it takes to wrap a vehicle varies from project to project.  However, in general, most vehicle wraps can be installed in as little as 1-3 days.

Q: If my vinyl vehicle wrap graphics are damaged, can they be fixed?

A:  You can normally have any damaged pieces or panels of your vehicle wrap replaced after your vehicle is repaired.  Many times you won't have to redo the entire wrap as long as the damages are limited to certain areas of the vehicle.  If you find yourself in this situation, contact one of our design specialists for more information.

Q: How can I justify the cost of a vehicle wrap?

A: If you are using your vehicle wrap as a marketing tool, there is no more cost-effective method of advertising available.  Why not use your vehicle to its fullest potential, to gain you business! it has been proven that the cost per impression of vehicle wraps is less than other forms of advertising such as billboards, television, radio, yellow pages and even newspapers!

At ProDezigns, we strive to give our clients the highest level of service and satisfaction.  We hope this blog answered your questions about getting a vehicle wrap in Jefferson City, Columbia or Lake of the Ozarks areas.  If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to call us at 573-392-0500.

Protect Your Vehicle Wrap this Winter

Temperatures are dropping and soon that dreaded sheet of ice will be covering your car each morning.  Vehicle wraps in Jefferson City, Columbia and the Lake of the Ozarks areas are designed to withstand whatever mother nature throws as us.  Although the extreme Winter temperatures won't harm your vehicle wrap, what you do to your vehicle during these conditions could potentially be harmful.  ProDezigns is here to prepare you for taking the best care of your vehicle wrap you can this winter!

Ice Scrapers

When ice is present on your car windows, one of the first things many people do is reach for that handy ice scraper.  For most people this is great way to get rid of that ice fast.  These scrapers were designed to take everything off your windows, including your vinyl.  The scraper will almost certainly rip off or at the very least damage that vinyl.  The best way to avoid this problem, is to run the defrost or window heaters for awhile.  If ice or snow is still present after trying to melt it that way, use a soft brush to remove the excess snow or ice.

Road Salt

Here in Missouri, the roads can get pretty slick during the Winter months.  The city will often put down salt to help vehicles maneuver better and avoid accidents.  This road salt, however, can be quite damaging to eh vinyl vehicle wraps.  The salt can actually corrode the vinyl and also cause discoloration to the design if the salt is left untreated.  To avoid this issue, be sure to wash your car wrap regularly and keep it as clean as possible.

If you're Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City or Columbia vehicle wrap does become damaged this winter, contact ProDezigns about replacing it.  The great thing about our vehicle wraps is that if the damages are limited to certain areas of the vehicle, we can replace just the damaged pieces or panels rather than having to redo the entire wrap.  Missouri's BEST wrap shop is here to provide you with the highest level of service, satisfaction and personal attention with every project we do!

If you can drive it, ride it, pull it, fly it, or lift it, we can wrap it!

1. Define Goals - What is the purpose of getting a vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City or Columbia?  What do you want to accomplish with your vehicle wrap?  You'll also need to think about how you're going to measure its effectiveness.

2. Create a Clear, Consistent Message -  How your company looks to the outside world sets a tone for all your interactions.  Think about who your target audience is and why.  What challenges or problems does your product or service fix?  Getting to the root of what you do and why you do it will help you come up with a direct message that relates to your clients and is easy for them to understand.

3. Short and Sweet - Although vehicle wraps can generate 30,000 to 70,000 vehicular impressions per day, most people viewing it will not give it more than a few seconds of attention.  If you're stopped at a stop light, you may get a little more time to impress them; however, most of the time they will be seeing your wrap as your cruising down the highway.  The less information you put on your vehicle wrap, the easier it's going to be to get your message across. Would you rather have 10 things that no one remembers or one to two memorable takeaways?  Keep the design short and sweet and to the point.

4. Call to Action - Tell your customers what you want them to do.  Do you want them to call you? Do you want them to schedule an appointment?  Add a call to action with your phone number.  You could even consider offering a discount for those that say they saw your vehicle driving around.  If you choose to do this though, keep in mind tip #3 and keep it short and sweet!

5. Follow Guidelines - If your company belongs to a franchise, you may have certain guidelines that you have to follow.  Be sure to look into this before starting on your custom vehicle wrap in Jefferson City, Columbia or Lake of the Ozarks.  Another important thing to consider is that you don't use any messages or images that infringe on anyone else's copyrights.

Successful Design

In today’s marketplace, image is everything.  How your company looks to the outside world sets the tone for all of your interactions – with customers, partners, media and other key stakeholders. You cannot afford to present an unprofessional or inconsistent image in a competitive and crowded landscape.

Partnering with Pro DeZigns experienced graphic design team ensures that your organizational image achieves maximum positive impact on your target audiences. You need a partner that understands how to create or revitalize an organization’s visual identity standards and extend these frameworks into creative, project-specific approaches.
