Protective Layer
Prior to wrapping, your car will be thoroughly cleaned on the surface to make sure there isn't any dirt or residue on the paint. On a well maintained vehicle, the wrap essentially creates a protective layer over the paint. This layer will help protect your paint from outside elements such as UV rays, flying rocks and other debris that can cause scratching. Vinyl wraps adhere on top of the existing paint job and will last several years with proper cleaning and maintenance. When you are ready to remove the wrap, bring it to Missouri's best wrap shop and we'll simply peel it right off. You will find fewer scratches and chips in the paint than you would if the vehicle hadn't been wrapped.
Paint Condition
Paint in poor condition may fail when the vinyl is removed down the road. If your paint job is rusting, chipped or peeling, your vehicle would not be a great candidate for a vehicle wrap. The paint may actually peel when the wrap is removed due to the already inherent flaws. In addition, brand new paint needs plenty of time to dry before being wrapped. It is important to talk with the staff at ProDezigns and pretest your paint job prior to wrapping it with vinyl.
