Vehicle Wrap FAQs

While vehicle wraps aren't necessarily a new concept, many businesses haven't taken advantage of this marketing avenue. Of the reasons businesses haven't considered a custom vehicle wrap for their business, could be because they have a lot of questions about how vehicle wraps work. 1. How can I justify the cost of purchasing a vehicle wrap? 

Answer: There's no more cost effective method than vehicle wraps when it comes to marketing your business. Why not use your vehicle to its full potential to gain you business? 2. What is the difference between a partial wrap and a full wrap? 

Answer: At ProDezigns custom vehicle wraps, we offer several different packages to meet your needs. Depending on your budget, you can get a partial wrap or a full wrap. Anything less than a full wrap is typically considered a "partial wrap." The nice thing about a partial wrap is that we can design it to fit within your budget. 3. What does the vehicle wrap process involve? 

Answer: Vehicle wraps, bus wraps, fleet wraps, etc. consist of three different phases. Phase one is the design phase, which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and the actual design of the custom graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks that will be applied. Phase two is the production phase, where those graphics are actually printed on the vinyl in preparation to be applied to the vehicle. The printed vinyl is then laminated to protect from abrasions and UV rays. Phase three is the installation phase, where the graphics are actually applied to the vehicle.

4. How long will it take to wrap my vehicle? 

Answer: The time it will take to wrap your vehicle will vary from project to project. It will be dependent on the complexity of the design and whether you're getting a full wrap or a partial wrap. The great thing about vehicle wraps though, is that they take a lot less time for installation than a custom paint job would. In general, most of our vehicle wraps can be installed in anywhere from 1-3 days. Give us a call with the details of your project and we can let you know how long you can expect it to take.

5. If my vehicle wrap is damaged, can it be fixed? 

Answer: Absolutely! In most cases, we are able to replace just the damaged pieces or panels after the vehicle has been repaired. You will not need to redo the entire wrap if the damage is limited to a specific area of the vehicle. Talk to the staff at ProDezigns on your specific situation for more details.

6. Can my vehicle wrap be removed? 

Answer: When done by a professional, vehicle wraps can easily be removed when you're ready to sell your vehicle or you're ready for an upgraded look. The vinyl can be removed the same way that it was applied. Once removed, your vehicle will look as good as new, or at least as good as the shape it was in when you decided to get it wrapped!

7. Will getting my vehicle wrapped damage the paint? 

Answer: In most cases, vehicle wraps will not damage factory paint jobs; they will actual protect it! However, if your paint is already damaged or peeling in some places, you'll want to get that fixed before applying the vinyl. In this case, when you removed the vehicle wrap after you're finished with it, that paint could peel off with it. As long as  your paint is in good condition, the our vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks will actually protect that paint.
