The Importance of Branding Your Business

Does your business have a brand? What does that brand say about you? Branding is all about how your customers perceive you. This includes everything from your logo and marketing to your website and the way you interact with your customers. Let's take a look at why branding is so important, for small and large businesses alike, and how Missouri's best wrap shop can help!

1. Branding Promotes Recognition.

People tend to do business with companies they are familiar with, and the best way to accomplish that familiarity is through branding. If you are consistent with your branding, people will recognize you more easily. Just think about the brands that will ever be ingrained in our heads: the golden arches of McDonald's, the polar bear of Coca-Cola, and the list goes on.

2. Branding Creates Trust.

Your brand says a lot about your business: who you are, what you do and how you do it. A professional appearance through branding will be credibility and trust with your customers. People are more likely to purchase from a business that knows who they are and what they want and can demonstrate that to it's customers.

3. Branding Helps Set You Apart from Competitors.

With competition growing more and more each day, it's extremely important to stand apart. Your brand can help you establish yourself as the expert in your field. Through your branding, you can demonstrate why you are the best and why someone should choose you over your competitors. (Be sure to do this without putting down your competitors.)

4. Branding Provides Motivation and Direction for Employees.

Branding isn't all about your customers, it also has a lot to do with your employees. Your brand sets the scene for workplace culture. Having a clear brand strategy provides the clarity your staff needs to be successful. The best work comes from organization, guidelines and goals - all things your brand can provide.

5. Branding Generates Referrals.

People like to talk and they're going to talk about the things they see and like. People wear brands, eat brands, listen to brands, etc. People aren't going to talk about you if they don't know about you or remember you. A strong brand is critical when it comes to spreading the word about your business.

3 Benefits of Storefront Window Graphics

At ProDezigns, we don't just wrap vehicles, we can wrap just about anything! If you're looking for a way to get people into your store, why not try some storefront window graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks? Take a look at a few of our recent projects and check out the benefits of this type of advertising:

1. Reinforce Your Brand.

To grow your business, you have to grow your brand - and what better way to do that than some eye-catching graphics! Window graphics allow you to tell prospective customers what you're all about before they even step into your store. Unique graphics also present an opportunity for word-of-mouth advertising - "Hey did you see that window art on main street? Have you been in there?" Your brand can easily spread throughout the neighborhood and community, making people curious to enter your store.

2. Transform Your Look.

If you're store is in an older part of town or could just use a little freshening up, give it a face-lift with custom storefront window graphics. Not only can window graphics brighten up the entrance to your store, but they can hide unsightly display shelves or storage near the windows. You can easily display messages on your windows, while still allowing natural light into your store.

3. Draw Attention to Products or Services.

Are there certain products or services that your business is known for? What's your speciality or what do you sell the most of? Use your window graphics to promote those products or services. You can easily reel in the impulse shoppers and help grow your client base. For retail stores, window graphics and displays are great for catching the attention of passersby.

If you're thinking about window graphics for your business, give Missouri's best wrap shop a call at 573-392-0500. Our award winning designers will work with you to create a custom promotional solution that best suits your individual marketing needs. Start getting maximum marketing results with our custom graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks!

5 Reasons to Finance Your Vehicle Wrap

Have you been thinking about purchasing a vehicle wrap to advertise your business? Not sure how to pay for it? Financing is now available through ProDezigns - now the possibility of using auto advertising to grow your business is affordable! Here are 5 reasons to use financing to pay for your custom vehicle wrap at the Lake of the Ozarks:

1. Save Cash for Unexpected Expenses.

Financing allows for financial flexibility. It helps you conserve cash for those unforeseen expenses. Low monthly payments allow you to keep cash on hand, so you're not stressed when those expenses do come up.

2. Manage Cash Flow.

Having fixed monthly payments that don't fluctuate, rather than one big upfront expense, can make your cash flow easier to manage. You can better plan your expenditures, allowing you to stick to your set budget. We can even work with you on variable payments to match seasonal cash flow, which many businesses here at the Lake of the Ozarks struggle with.

3. Conserve Lines of Credit.

Financing allows your business to grow without the upfront investment. You can preserve your lines of credit and make sure you have money available for your normal day-to-day expenses, as well as any emergency situations that you can't pay for in cash. Use our financing to also help build your business credentials with any bank. Pay as you grow with ProDezigns' new financing options!

4. Increase Purchasing Power.

Financing gives you more buying power in the form of additional capital. You are able to buy more equipment, in this case a custom vehicle wrap, that will in turn help you generate more income. Typically, buying something to increase revenue could put a financial strain on you and your business. With financing you don't have that issue because you're paying it off in small increments. Financing allows you to buy what you need, when you need it!

5. Benefit from Potential Tax Savings.

Monthly payments are tax deductible as an operational expense. In many cases, you can even write off the interest charges. You can deduct the full purchase price of your financed vehicle wrap as you pay for it. You essentially get to deduct 100% off the costs.

If you think financing your vehicle wrap could be a good option for you, apply online in less than 30 seconds! Simply visit our website, click the "Apply Now!" button and fill out our no obligation credit application. For more information on our financing options and/or our custom vehicle wrap packages, give us a call at 573-392-0500.

The Invention of Vinyl

While the concept of auto advertising developed long before vinyl vehicle graphics were invented, the discovery of vinyl material opened up a whole new world of opportunities for the industry. The continual advancements in technology have only increased those opportunities. ProDezigns is here to share with you about this unique material used in vehicle wrap production and how it was invented:

What is Vinyl?

Vinyl is a synthetic plastic material that has the most uses compared to any other plastic in the world.
You can find this multipurpose material in a long list of products, including vehicle wraps. It's versatile nature allows for many uses. It can be firm or flexible, thick or thin and also can come in a wide variety of colors. Where did this unique product come from though?

The Invention of Vinyl Chloride

Vinyl Chloride was accidentally discovered in 1926 by the Goodrich Corporation. Take a look at this quick video on how vinyl chloride is produced:

The invention created new products, factories, and jobs in America. As for the auto advertising industry, it created a huge opportunity for growth.

Vinyl Vehicle Graphics

At first, only large organizations such as the U.S. Air Force could afford to use self-adhesive vinyl graphics. By the 1980's vinyl production costs and die-cutting technology had become affordable enough for small businesses. Vinyl started to take the place of paint when it came to adding letters and decals to their vehicles. By the early 1990's, colorful die-cut vinyl became the primary method of adding lettering and logos to big business vehicles. Paint remained king for car enthusiasts. In the late 1990's new technology allowed printing on vinyl with a wide format printer. However, this was also quite expensive until the 21st century.

4 Benefits to Having a 2016 Marketing Budget

With just a little over a month left in the year, now is the time to start thinking about marketing. Begin by taking a look back at your marketing in 2015 and use that information to start making a plan for the future. Here are a few benefits to having a 2016 marketing budget - and don't forget to allocate some of those advertising dollars to a custom vehicle wrap at Lake of the Ozarks!

1. Provides a Sense of Direction.

Most small business owners have no clue how much they should be spending on advertising, and therefore, they avoid creating a marketing budget at all. The U.S. Small Business Administration recommends spending 7-8% of your gross revenue for marketing and advertising. Creating the perfect marketing budget right off the bat is nearly impossible. You will need to be flexible and fluctuate your budget as your revenue changes.

2. Allocates Scarce Financial Resources Effectively.

If you throw all your money at product development, you may end up with a great product that just sits there because no one knows about it. On the other hand, if you spend too much on marketing and not enough on developing a great product, people may become disappointed in your business or brand. There needs to be a balance and having a budget can help you achieve that happy medium.

3. Encourages Coordination with Other Departments.

In order for a product to be successful, it's important that the product development department coordinates with the sales and marketing departments. Unfortunately, products don't sell themselves. By having a marketing plan in place, everyone knows where and how money can be spent to effectively market any new products or services. Any good business works like a puzzle, you have to have all the right pieces to get the big picture.

4. Provides a Basis for Assessing Actual Results.

It is important to constantly evaluate your spending, assess what your competitors are doing, look at previous years' results and then go from there. Just because you have a plan in place, doesn't mean you have to follow it to a T. Do what works best for your business. If you're not seeing results from one form of marketing, try spending more on something that is providing you with results that match your business goals.

5. Creates a Recipe for Success!

Without having some sort of marketing budget in place, you're taking the risk of making impulse marketing decisions that don’t generate the results you’re looking for. By starting to plan how you'll spend next year's marketing dollars now, you'll be setting yourself up for success!

Add ProDezigns to Your 2016 Marketing Plan

When you're setting up that marketing budget and allocating money to different advertising venues, keep ProDezigns' custom vehicle wraps, wall wraps or floor graphics in mind. Vehicle wrap advertising can generate 30,000 to 70,000 daily vehicular impressions, making it more effective than other type of outdoor advertising. Vehicle Wrap FAQs

While vehicle wraps aren't necessarily a new concept, many businesses haven't taken advantage of this marketing avenue. Of the reasons businesses haven't considered a custom vehicle wrap for their business, could be because they have a lot of questions about how vehicle wraps work. At Missouri's best vehicle wrap shop, we're here to answer all your questions and help you to make the right decisions for your business' marketing.

1. How can I justify the cost of purchasing a vehicle wrap?

Answer: There's no more cost effective method than vehicle wraps when it comes to marketing your business. Why not use your vehicle to its full potential to gain you business? Statistics show that the cost per impression for vehicle wraps is less than other forms of advertising including billboards, television, radio, yellow pages and newspapers. For more information on why you should add vehicle wrap marketing to your advertising plan, check out our blog titled, "4 Reasons to Advertise with a Vehicle Wrap."

2. What is the difference between a partial wrap and a full wrap?

Answer: At ProDezigns custom vehicle wraps, we offer several different packages to meet your needs. Depending on your budget, you can get a partial wrap or a full wrap. Anything less than a full wrap is typically considered a "partial wrap." The nice thing about a partial wrap is that we can design it to fit within your budget. We can even just do simple decals with your business name and logo. Give us a call at 573-392-0500 for details.

3. What does the vehicle wrap process involve?

Answer: Vehicle wraps, bus wraps, fleet wraps, etc. consist of three different phases. Phase one is the design phase, which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and the actual design of the custom graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks that will be applied. Phase two is the production phase, where those graphics are actually printed on the vinyl in preparation to be applied to the vehicle. The printed vinyl is then laminated to protect from abrasions and UV rays. Phase three is the installation phase, where the graphics are actually applied to the vehicle.

4. How long will it take to wrap my vehicle?

Answer: The time it will take to wrap your vehicle will vary from project to project. It will be dependent on the complexity of the design and whether you're getting a full wrap or a partial wrap. The great thing about vehicle wraps though, is that they take a lot less time for installation than a custom paint job would. In general, most of our vehicle wraps can be installed in anywhere from 1-3 days. Give us a call with the details of your project and we can let you know how long you can expect it to take.

5. If my vehicle wrap is damaged, can it be fixed?

Answer: Absolutely! In most cases, we are able to replace just the damaged pieces or panels after the vehicle has been repaired. You will not need to redo the entire wrap if the damage is limited to a specific area of the vehicle. Talk to the staff at ProDezigns on your specific situation for more details.

6. Can my vehicle wrap be removed?

Answer: When done by a professional, vehicle wraps can easily be removed when you're ready to sell your vehicle or you're ready for an upgraded look. The vinyl can be removed the same way that it was applied. Once removed, your vehicle will look as good as new, or at least as good as the shape it was in when you decided to get it wrapped!

7. Will getting my vehicle wrapped damage the paint?

Answer: In most cases, vehicle wraps will not damage factory paint jobs; they will actual protect it! However, if your paint is already damaged or peeling in some places, you'll want to get that fixed before applying the vinyl. In this case, when you removed the vehicle wrap after you're finished with it, that paint could peel off with it. As long as  your paint is in good condition, the our vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks will actually protect that paint. It's important to talk with the staff at ProDezigns and pre-test your paint job before the wrap installation process begins.

At ProDezigns, we make your business capital mobile through the power of vehicle wraps. Utilizing marketing techniques that have been proven time and again to be creative, innovative and on the cutting edge of technology, we'll help you creating a lasting impact to all that see your marketing.
