Get Your Boats Ready for Shootout 2015

It's that time of year again, for the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest! The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout Festivities are already underway. ProDezigns is here to give you all the information you need to enjoy the Lake the entire week. Check out these Shootout events that are all about great looking (and fast racing) boats!

2nd Annual Shootout Pontoon Poker Run 

Friday, August 21
Join us for the Lake of the Ozarks first ever "dual" starting point poker run! This poker run is for boats and pontoons 32 foot and under. Sign in at 7:30 AM at either Captain Rons (34 mm) or Momma's (4mm) depending on what side of the Lake you want to run. Breakfast will be available at both locations around 8:30 AM. The poker run will start around 11:00 AM. Stops on the East side include Momma's, Tap & Grill, Coconuts, Cabanna Jones and H. Toads. Stops on the West side include Captain Ron's, Bear Bottoms, Nauti Fish, Niangua Falls and Paradise. The meet in the middle and end stop is at Topsider, where all hands will need to be in by 6:00 PM. 6th Annual Mini Shootout

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, August 21-23
Registration and Meet & Greet is at Papa Chubby's on the 26 mile marker at 5:00 PM on Friday. Practice Runs start at 9:00 AM on Saturday and will go until Noon. From Noon to 1 PM, there will be lunch and open swimming. The splash runs and bounty race will take place from 1:00-5:00 PM. On Sunday, from 9:00 AM to Noon is bracket racing, exhibition races and powder puff racing. From Noon to 1:00 PM, there will be lunch and open swimming. Then from 1:00-4:00 PM will be the class runs, top gun racing and the bounty race. Awards Ceremony will be immediately following the race. Shootout on the Strip

Wednesday, August 26
Bring the family & meet the drivers and race teams on the Bagnell Dam Strip! Drivers will line up from 1:00-3:00 PM on Hwy 242. At 4:00 PM, the drivers will roll onto the Strip. Poly Lift Poker Run

Friday, August 28
Registration for this year's poker run will take place on Thursday, August 24 from 4:00-9:00 PM at Performance Boat Center. There will also be a reception with food and drink, with a charity auction held there at Performance Boat Center on Thursday night. Registration and breakfast will be at 8:00 AM at Backwater Jack's. Main Event: Shootout Races

Saturday & Sunday, August 29-30

The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout being held at Captain Ron's will bring the top racers and off shore racing power boats topping 244 MPH. This event is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest, with over 100 races and 100,000 spectators.
