5 Business Resolutions to Make in 2017

While most people think of losing weight or exercising more as new year's resolutions, businesses can have resolutions of their own. In fact, they should! How can you improve your business in the new year? Start by creating a plan today! Here are a few resolutions and goals to consider making for your business in 2017:

1. To Actively Increase Sales.

While everyone hopes to have a better sales than the previous year, that doesn't always happen, especially if you don't put the work into it. Make one of your business resolutions to include a plan for how you're going to accomplish those increased sales. Will you increase your marketing budget to bring in more business? Consider adding a custom vehicle wrap or storefront graphics at the Lake of the Ozarks to your marketing plan to entice people to come to your place of business. Host events or offer promotions to get people to give your brand a try!

2. To Improve Digital Presence.

Increased sales can be the result of several different efforts working together. One important focus for 2017 should be to improve your digital presence, particularly on mobile devices. Not only should you make sure your website is current, but it needs to be mobile friendly now. You also need to be active on the social media channels that your best customers are active on. If your business is still stuck in the stone age, 2017 is the time to add digital components to your business marketing plan.

3. To Be More Productive.

How often do you catch yourself wasting time, whether on your phone, social media or whatever? In today's world, there are too many distractions that can easily derail you from that critical business task. Make it a goal to focus more and be more productive when it comes to your business in 2017. Set boundaries and try to keep your personal life out of your business life as much as possible. This also means that when you're not working, don't be checking emails constantly. You need to find a work/life balance that works for you. Finding that balance is the key to a productive day at work.

4. To Delegate More.

As a business owner, sometimes you can get overwhelmed by the amount of things that need to be accomplished in a day or a week. Make it a priority to delegate more to your staff and team members in the coming year. Not only will you be less stressed, but others will get the opportunity to show you what an asset they are to your company. This resolution focuses on team building and working together for the success of your business.

5. To Be a Better Communicator.

Ineffective communication is a common issue in a lot of businesses. Misunderstandings, lack of employee morale and repetitive information can all be avoided with a focus on better communication in the new year. Be sure to evaluate not only how you're communicating with your employees, but also how you're communicating with vendors and clients. Good communication is a key factor in a successful business.

Keep in mind there are no limits to what your business can achieve this year! Here at ProDezigns, we hope these resolutions can help you take your business to the next level in 2017. 9 FAQs About ProDezigns Custom Vehicle Wraps

Have you thought about wrapping your vehicle, whether for business or personal reasons? You probably have a lot of questions about the process and about vinyl vehicle graphics in general. Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions about our custom vehicle wraps at the Lake of the Ozarks:

1. What's involved in a vehicle wrap?

A: The vehicle wrap process is comprised of three phases. The first is the design phase, which includes getting accurate measurements for the vehicle and actual design of the graphics to be applied. The second is the production phase where the graphics are printed and then laminated to protect the vinyl from abrasions and UV rays. The third phase is installation where the vinyl is actually applied to your vehicle.

2. How long does it take to wrap a vehicle?

A: The time it takes to wrap a vehicle will vary from project to project. In general though, vehicle wraps can be installed in 1 to 3 days.

3. Will a vehicle wrap damage the car's paint job?

A: In most cases, vehicle wraps will not damage factory paint jobs. In fact, it will protect the factory paint. It is important to talk with the staff at Pro Dezigns and pre-test your paint job prior to wrapping with vinyl. Paint in poor condition may fail when vinyl is removed.

4. If a vehicle wrap is damaged, can it be fixed?

A: Yes. You can normally have the damaged pieces or panels of your vehicle wrap replaced after your vehicle is repaired. You also do not need to redo the entire wrap if the damage is limited to certain areas of the vehicle. Talk to the staff at our Missouri vehicle wrap shop for more information.

5. Can vehicle wraps be washed?

A: Vehicle wraps can be washed, and in fact, should be washed. However, the vinyl graphics should be hand-washed rather than ran through an automatic car wash to avoid damage.

6. Can a vehicle wrap be removed?

A: Vehicle wraps can be removed, but we recommend professional removal. When you want to change your wrap or sell your car, the vinyl can be removed the same way it was applied.

7. How long will a vehicle wrap last?

A: Vehicle wraps can last anywhere from 3 to 7 years depending on the care of them. Wrapped vehicles that are left outdoors and in the sun a lot could start to see some fading before other vehicles would.

8. How can the cost of a vehicle wrap be justified?

A: If a vehicle wrap is being used for marketing purposes, there is not a more cost-effective advertising method available. Why not use a vehicle to its fullest potential, to gain you business!

9. How does vehicle wrap advertising compare to other forms of advertising?

A: It has been proven that the cost per impression of vehicle wraps is less than other forms of advertising such as billboards, television, radio and yellow pages and even newspapers. According to The Traffic Audit Bureau for Media Measurement reports, vehicle wrap advertising can generate 30,000 to 70,000 daily vehicular impressions.
